Newer LED back-lit LCD screens last longer and cost less, on average, than older CCFL (Cold Cathode Fluorescent Lamp) back-lit screens. They also consume less electricity which helps your battery last longer.
14″, 15.6″, and 17.3″ are the standard laptop screen sizes and are often the least expensive to replace. There are, of course, some exceptions.
A 1 year manufacturer’s warranty is offered on most of our screens.
New screens for older laptops cost more because of supply and demand. We can often find a less expensive and used laptop screen with a limited warranty, but new is always best.
